Gemini Omni Flash rolls out to Gemini, Flow and YouTube Shorts

Google announced that Gemini Omni Flash would be available in the Gemini app, Google Flow and YouTube Shorts. The rollout connects a new video model to both a general AI assistant and established creator distribution surfaces.

For creators, access inside Shorts changes the distance between an idea, a generated clip and publication. It also raises the importance of platform-specific disclosure, moderation and audience trust practices.

Brands should avoid treating a new generation button as an approval workflow. Put human review, asset rights and campaign-specific guardrails before publication, particularly when a video contains people, products or regulated claims.
